Likud Primaries: Eli Cohen Leads as Amir Ohana and Yariv Levin Follow
After counting 91.8% of the votes in the Likud primaries, Eli Cohen maintains his lead at the top of the party list. Amir Ohana secured the second spot, followed by Yariv Levin in third place. Miri Regev and Ofir Katz complete the top five positions. Just behind them are Yoav Kisch, Miki Zohar, Almog Cohen, Amichai Shikli, Dudi Amsalem, and Moshe Saada. Tali Gottlieb was pushed into the second ten, currently holding the 12th place on the list without any reserved slots. Following her are Shlomo Karai, David Bitan, and Boaz Bismuth.
Ahead of the primaries, each candidate received 380,000 shekels in state funding. Notably, Nir Barkat and Zeev Elkin are competing for a realistic spot on the list, with Barkat currently leading Elkin by 448 votes. At this stage, candidates likely to be excluded include Hanoch Milvitsky, Idit Silman, May Golan, and Avi Dichter. The results indicate a potentially unusual election campaign ahead.
