Satmar Rebbe Dances Vigorously at Granddaughter's Wedding in Israel

The Satmar Rebbe from Klausenburg, currently visiting Israel, honored the wedding celebration of the granddaughter of his close confidant, Rabbi Azriel Yehuda Tauber, on Monday evening. The bride is the daughter of Rabbi Naftali Glantz, the chief rabbi of the Hasidic community in Elad. The groom is the son of Rabbi Yitzchak Yaakov Hoffman, a lecturer at the Meknovka Belz Yeshiva.

Following the grace after meals, the Rebbe was honored with reciting the seven blessings and then energetically danced the traditional 'Kaddish' dance before the bride, holding sacred prayer shawls. The joyous event was also attended by the Rebbe's brother-in-law, the Satmar Rebbe of Zvhil from Union City, New Jersey, who is also visiting Israel at this time.
