Firefighters Rescue Woman From First-Floor Apartment Fire in Carmiel

A fire broke out in a first-floor apartment of an eight-story residential building in Carmiel, prompting the dispatch of five firefighting teams from the Galil Merkaz station. The incident occurred around midday, with firefighters arriving to find the fire's origin inside the apartment and a woman trapped within. Firefighters entered the apartment, located the woman, and successfully rescued her while simultaneously working to extinguish the blaze and control the fire.

Following the rescue, the teams conducted thorough searches throughout the building to ensure no other residents were trapped or in danger. Incident commander Chief Fire Officer Talya Morad stated that upon arrival, they recognized the potential risk to human life and acted swiftly to rescue the trapped woman and contain the fire. The operation concluded with confirmation that all residents were safe and no additional casualties were reported.
