Private Investigator Tzvika Nave Sues Alex Skler for Defamation and Seeks Removal of Negative Publications
Tzvika Nave, a private investigator and owner of the business intelligence firm CGI, has filed a new lawsuit against millionaire Alex Skler demanding one million shekels in damages. Nave also requests a court order compelling Skler to immediately remove all publications related to the lawsuit. This legal action follows an ongoing defamation campaign by Skler, who has publicly targeted Nave through various media, including billboards.
The lawsuit centers on six specific publications from what Nave describes as Skler's "smear campaign" against him. The dispute is rooted in a complex personal and legal conflict involving Skler, his ex-wife Violeta, and Nave, who is now married to Violeta. The case also references a controversial episode involving Liri Albag, a former hostage, and a radio program where Skler accused Nave of fraudulently obtaining two million shekels from Albag's father. Nave denies these claims, stating the actual sum was one million shekels and that he returned the money after failing to secure a foreign passport for Albag to aid her release.
Nave alleges that Skler's campaign aims to damage his reputation and dissuade Violeta from asserting her legal rights. The lawsuit is based on tort law, negligence, and privacy protection statutes. This new suit supplements a previous ongoing lawsuit Nave filed against Skler for ten million shekels.
In response, Skler dismissed the allegations as "lies, spins, and false representations," accusing Nave of fabricating stories to manipulate public opinion and avoid proper legal procedures. Skler claims he possesses evidence and witnesses who will prove Nave's misconduct in court, asserting that the billboard campaign reflects the truth about Nave's actions.
The legal battle highlights a bitter personal and business feud with significant public exposure, as both parties prepare for further court proceedings.
