Samsung Unveils Smoother Animations and New Features in One UI 9.5 Update

A new internal version of Samsung's One UI 9.5 update reveals several enhancements for Galaxy devices, including smoother home screen animations, a redesigned fingerprint sensor interface, camera app improvements, and expanded app mirroring capabilities with Windows PCs. The leak, based on an early internal build and shared by insider Fahad Ali Jawad, shows that app opening and closing animations feel more fluid by default, without needing additional modules like Good Lock's Home Up. Visual changes include new graphics and animations for the fingerprint registration screen and a refreshed camera app interface featuring rounded corners, a golden hue option, and rearranged quick access buttons.

Additionally, the update introduces Finder and Google Search bars on the home screen, first seen on the Galaxy Z Flip 8 and Fold 8 series, now appearing in the internal build for the upcoming Galaxy S26 series, suggesting wider rollout. A notable new feature allows users to mirror and operate Galaxy phone apps directly on Windows computers when both devices are linked to the same Samsung Account, potentially enhancing cross-device integration. As this is only the second internal version, Samsung is still in early development stages for One UI 9.5.
