Yesh Atid MK Moshe Tur-Paz Reveals He Voted Likud Until Age 40

Moshe Tur-Paz, a member of the Knesset from Yesh Atid, shared in a personal post his political transformation and addressed Likud members ahead of their internal elections. Tur-Paz revealed that until the age of 40, he voted for Likud but eventually felt the party no longer represented him. He criticized the party's economic stance as left-leaning, its failure to uphold national security, and its drift into what he called "absurd territories." He also referenced the tenure of the Likud prime minister, noting that while the leader once said two terms were enough, he is now in his sixth term, which Tur-Paz and others see as excessive.

Tur-Paz recounted his shift to Yesh Atid in 2012 when the party first ran for elections, appreciating its diverse composition of religious and secular, right, left, and center members, and its focus on public service. He has been a voter since then, a party member since 2017, and a Knesset member since 2021.

In the same context, Hagai Lover urged Likud primary voters to ignore negative campaigns and divisive rhetoric. He advised them to avoid candidates who blame others for failures and to choose leaders who will benefit all of Israel.
