Michal and Tal Advance Wedding to Hospital So Michal's Mother Can Attend
Michal and Tal had planned to marry in about a year but moved their wedding forward to hold it at Shaare Zedek Medical Center so Michal's mother, Chana, could be present. Chana is hospitalized in the surgical intensive care unit and requires continuous high-flow oxygen. Due to her critical condition, it was difficult to take her out of the ward. Shaare Zedek staff arranged a unique high-flow oxygen device with a dedicated battery, enabling Chana to leave the ICU temporarily under close medical supervision. The wedding took place in the surgical department's family area, with dozens of relatives attending and celebrating alongside the couple. The event was coordinated by the hospital's religious services, respiratory care unit, and ICU medical and nursing teams. Chana was accompanied by respiratory staff led by Michal Shitrit to participate in her daughter's wedding, receiving well wishes for a full recovery.
