Canadian Model Joins Viral Shark Stunt as TooTurntTony Faces Renewed Backlash

Canadian model Cece Rose, 26, stunned millions online after agreeing to act as live bait in a shark stunt filmed in a closed marina. In the viral clip, which has passed 11 million views, she is tossed from a dock, floats while attached to a giant fishing rod, and is then yanked through the water when a massive shark takes the bait. The stunt was part of a challenge by content creator Anthony Dawson, 31, known as "TooTurntTony." Rose, who has more than 2 million followers on Instagram, appeared to laugh through much of the video and later posed with the shark. She wrote afterward, "It was so much fun."
