Search Continues for Missing 24-Year-Old Chabad Yeshiva Student Near Tiberias

The search for 24-year-old Chabad yeshiva student Katriel Nachman Keinan, who disappeared nearly a week ago, remains ongoing with no new leads. Keinan was last seen around 6 p.m. near the Gai Beach area in Tiberias on Monday afternoon, heading toward the city of Safed. Since then, his whereabouts have been unknown, prompting extensive police efforts to locate him.

Keinan's family is deeply distressed and urges anyone with information to come forward. Volunteers from various organizations including Yedidim, ZAKA, and Yechal have joined the search in the Tiberias and northern Israel areas based on different clues, but so far no progress has been made. The family and volunteers continue to ask the public to widely share his photo and details to increase the chances of finding him.

According to police, Keinan is of medium build, approximately 1.74 meters tall, with black hair, brown eyes, and a beard. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a black suit, white shirt, a hat, and carrying a black backpack and a dark brown tefillin bag. The police have called on anyone with any information to urgently contact Beit Shemesh police station or the national emergency number 100, emphasizing that even the smallest detail could be crucial in the search.

No updates have been reported yet, and there is serious concern for Keinan's safety as the search continues.
