The owner of a food stand at the La Des-Alpes ski resort in the French Alps was questioned by the French Gendarmerie on Saturday following accusations of antisemitic remarks. French Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez announced the opening of an official investigation immediately after the video surfaced, stating on social media that the woman would be held accountable for her words, which "have no place in our Republic." Auroré Bachez, the minister responsible for combating discrimination, also condemned the remarks and requested an immediate report to the public prosecutor in line with French criminal procedure.
