Biala Ostrova Rebbe Hospitalized in US, Community Prays for Recovery

The Biala Ostrova Rebbe from the Givat Shaul neighborhood in Jerusalem has been hospitalized in the United States after feeling unwell. The Rebbe, Rabbi Avraham Yerachmiel ben Sarah Rivka, is currently in a hospital in the US and is in urgent need of prayers for his full recovery. The community has been called upon to pray for him alongside other ill members of the Jewish people.

Rabbi Avraham Yerachmiel leads his study hall in Givat Shaul and is known as a person who has endured significant personal tragedies. He lost his wife in 2016, his daughter Chana Pesha Frenkel, aged 23, died in a severe bus accident on route 402 between Jerusalem and Bnei Brak in March 2016, and most recently, in January 2024, he mourned the passing of his son, Rabbi Moshe Mordechai Rabinovitch, who died at age 36 on the yahrzeit of their ancestor, Rabbi David of Lelov.
