Urgent prayers after major health collapse of the Horodenka rebbe

Concern is growing in the Chassidic world after a severe deterioration in the condition of the Horodenka rebbe, described as one of the leading philanthropists of his generation. He has been hospitalized for several weeks, and in the last hour his body suffered a systemic collapse.

The rebbe, Rabbi Yitzchak Aryeh ben Chana, is based in Manchester, England, and is widely known for his acts of charity. According to the report, he supports tens of thousands of Jews and distributes monthly food and livelihood vouchers to thousands of families.

His health had already been fragile in recent weeks. About a month ago, he underwent an emergency operation in Switzerland, and he was hospitalized again as his condition worsened. Following the latest decline, Chassidic courts and supporters across the world are calling on the public to pray and plead for his complete recovery.

The appeal asks people everywhere to tear open the gates of heaven for Rabbi Yitzchak Aryeh ben Chana, “within the other sick of Israel.”
