Inerum Group Appoints Yoav Lavi as CFO and Ido Shafir as CEO of Itong
Inerum Group announced two key executive appointments to strengthen its management team. Yoav Lavi has been named the group’s Chief Financial Officer after a 26-year career at KPMG, where he was a senior partner leading business advisory and transaction support. Lavi brings extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, financial due diligence, valuation, and complex financial and accounting consulting. He holds a CPA license and degrees in economics, accounting, business administration (finance), and law from Bar-Ilan University.
Ido Shafir was appointed CEO of Itong, one of Israel’s leading construction solutions companies within the Inerum Group. Shafir has over 20 years of experience managing large industrial companies and operational units, focusing on growth, efficiency, and business performance improvement. Previously, he served as CEO of Plass Infrastructure and as COO and supply chain head at Geon Group. His background also includes senior roles at Shalem Packaging Solutions, Knorr factory management, and logistics leadership at Unilever Israel and Soltam Systems. Shafir holds a bachelor’s degree in logistics and economics from Bar-Ilan University and completed financial management studies at Tel Aviv University.
