Couple Suspected of Stealing Luxury Goods Worth Thousands from Big Galilot Stores

A couple in their 30s and 40s from Netanya was arrested on August 15, 2026, on suspicion of stealing luxury clothing, perfumes, and fashion accessories worth thousands of shekels from several stores at the Big Galilot shopping center in Ramat Hasharon. Police received a report around midday about the man and woman allegedly moving between multiple shops without paying for the items. The suspected stolen goods came from well-known brands including Tommy Hilfiger, Factory 54 Beauty, Calvin Klein, Lacoste, Alo Yoga, and Adidas.

Officers at the scene spotted the couple driving a car loaded with the suspected stolen merchandise as they attempted to leave the shopping complex. Upon searching the vehicle, police found a large quantity of items believed to have been taken from various stores. The couple was taken to the Galilot police station for questioning and later released under restrictive conditions.

This incident highlights ongoing concerns about retail theft at major shopping centers in the Tel Aviv metropolitan area. Authorities continue to investigate and monitor similar cases to prevent further losses to businesses.
