Israeli i24NEWS Crew Attacked While Filming Antisemitism Report in Belfast

An Israeli news team from i24NEWS was attacked while filming a report on antisemitism in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Reporter Yonatan Roah and cameraman Nadav Abas were interviewing people in a local entertainment area when a hostile individual recognized their Israeli affiliation. The man attempted to seize their equipment and disrupted filming by making obscene gestures to the camera. When the crew tried to leave, the attacker approached threateningly and threw a large glass beer mug at the cameraman, causing a bleeding head wound. The team called for security assistance from nearby restaurants and left the scene without requiring further medical treatment. Both have since returned to Israel safely.
