Omer Biran promoted to top refereeing panel for next season
The Israeli Referees Association approved the recommendations of its refereeing committee on Sunday evening for the 2026/27 season structure. According to the decision, Omer Biran was promoted to the elite referees' panel.
The same move also elevated Peleg Atzmon, Alexey Lechzair, Omri Saadon and Elad Tzoler to the top assistant referees' panel. In addition, Omri Levi, Roy Goldstein and Raz Day were promoted to the national referees' panel.
Joad Azazie, Itamar Shenaf, Ram Tapyaro, Daniel Goldberg, Nisan Nimni and Ofir Mizrahi were promoted to the national assistant referees' panel. In its announcement, the committee and the association wished all of the promoted referees and assistants success and said they were confident in their professional ability to integrate successfully into the higher panels.
