West Ham Coach Espirito Santo Praises Manor Solomon's Talent Ahead of Premier League Return

Manor Solomon has officially signed a three-year contract with West Ham United, marking his fourth English club after Fulham, Tottenham Hotspur, and Leeds United. The Israeli international returned to London and aims to help West Ham regain their Premier League status following their recent relegation. Ahead of the season opener against Burnley on Sunday, West Ham manager Nuno Espirito Santo held a press conference where he highlighted Solomon's significant talent and the strategic need for his position on the left wing.

Espirito Santo stated, "I chose Manor Solomon because of his great talent. He can offer us a lot. We needed this position, prepared many options for the left wing, and it’s very good that we brought Solomon. He is a skilled player, and we are happy he is here with us." The coach also mentioned the club's awareness of the need to strengthen the squad further.

Last season, Solomon was loaned from Tottenham to Villarreal, where he had limited playing time, and then to Fiorentina, scoring two goals and providing one assist in 16 appearances. Solomon replaces Dutch player Krystian Summerville, who transferred to Saudi Arabia's Al Hilal. At 27 years old, Solomon will team up with West Ham's star player Jarrod Bowen, who chose to remain with the club despite their relegation. Solomon follows in the footsteps of Israeli players Eyal Berkovic and Yossi Benayoun, who previously played for West Ham.
