West Ham Coach Espirito Santo Praises Manor Solomon's Talent Ahead of Premier League Return

Manor Solomon has officially signed a three-year contract with West Ham United, marking his fourth English club after Fulham, Tottenham Hotspur, and Leeds United. The Israeli international returned to London and aims to help West Ham regain their Premier League status following their recent relegation. Ahead of the season opener against Burnley on Sunday, West Ham manager Nuno Espirito Santo held a press conference where he expressed strong confidence in Solomon's abilities.

Espirito Santo stated, "I chose Manor Solomon because of his great talent. He can offer us a lot. We needed a player in his position and had several options for the left wing, so it’s very good that we brought Solomon. He is a talented player, and we are happy he is here with us." The coach also mentioned that the team is aware they need to strengthen the squad further.

Last season, Solomon was loaned from Tottenham to Villarreal, where he had limited playing time, and then to Fiorentina, scoring two goals and providing one assist in 16 appearances. At West Ham, Solomon replaces Dutch player Krystian Summerville, who transferred to Saudi club Al Hilal. The 27-year-old will team up with West Ham’s star player Jarrod Bowen, who chose to stay with the club despite their relegation. Solomon follows in the footsteps of former Israeli West Ham players Eyal Berkovic and Yossi Benayoun.
