Singer Odaya Azoulay Donates Torah Scroll to Local Synagogue in Rishon Lezion
Israeli singer Odaya Azoulay celebrated the donation of a Torah scroll to her neighborhood synagogue in Rishon Lezion. She personally funded the entire cost of writing the Torah scroll and hosted the dedication event at her home. The ceremony was attended by close friends, Rabbi Yigal Cohen, and singer Ben Tzur, who participated by writing a letter in the Torah. Rabbi Cohen praised Azoulay during the event, saying she was performing a "great sanctification of God's name." The Torah scroll is intended to serve the local synagogue and community.
