Hapoel Jerusalem Signs Slovakian Winger Sharani Zobro from Slovan Bratislava
Hapoel Jerusalem has announced the signing of 26-year-old winger Sharani Zobro from Slovak club Slovan Bratislava. Zobro, a Ghanaian-Togolese player, joined Slovan Bratislava in February 2024 and won four Slovak league titles with the team. Primarily playing as a right winger, he has also featured as a forward and left back throughout his career.
During the 2023/24 season, Zobro made 31 appearances and scored four goals, also participating in the UEFA Champions League with Slovan. However, in the most recent season, he played only 13 matches without scoring or assisting. Zobro began his career at Dreams FC before moving to Sparta Prague's youth academy and later playing for several Slovak clubs prior to joining Slovan Bratislava.
Hapoel Jerusalem's acquisition of Zobro adds an experienced foreign winger to their squad as they prepare for the upcoming Israeli Premier League season.
