Hapoel Jerusalem Signs Slovak Wing Player Sharani Zobro from Slovan Bratislava

Hapoel Jerusalem has announced the signing of 26-year-old winger Sharani Zobro from Slovak club Slovan Bratislava. Zobro, who has won four Slovak league titles with Slovan, primarily plays as a right winger but has also appeared as a forward and left back during his career. Since February 2024, he made 13 appearances in the last season without scoring or assisting, with his best season being 2023/24 when he scored four goals in 31 matches and participated in the UEFA Champions League with Slovan.

Zobro began his football career at Dreams FC before moving to the youth academy of Sparta Prague. He then continued his career in Slovakia, playing for several clubs before joining Slovan Bratislava. Hapoel Jerusalem, like all teams in the Israeli Premier League, is currently in the midst of summer preparations and has added Zobro as their foreign winger ahead of the new season.
