Israeli Police and Tax Authority Seize 10 Vehicles Over 4.5 Million Shekel Tax Debt in Baqa al-Gharbiyye
Israeli police and the Tax Authority conducted a joint enforcement operation in Baqa al-Gharbiyye, resulting in the seizure of 10 vehicles linked to outstanding tax debts totaling approximately 4.5 million shekels. The operation targeted debts related to value-added tax (VAT) and income tax. Officers from the Baqa al-Gharbiyye police station in the Haifa district, personnel from the Northern Collection Enforcement Unit of the Tax Authority, and fighters from the Menashe riot police participated in the enforcement action. The seized vehicles were transferred to the Tax Authority for further processing under its jurisdiction. Authorities emphasized that this cooperation between enforcement bodies will continue as part of ongoing efforts to combat economic crimes, uphold the rule of law, and maintain public order.
