Israeli Police Seize 17 Luxury Cars in Baka al-Gharbiyye Over Tax Debts
Israeli police and the Tax Authority conducted a joint enforcement operation in Baka al-Gharbiyye near the Iron Stream area on Sunday night. Officers from the Haifa District Police, the local station, the Northern Enforcement Unit of the Tax Authority, and fighters from the Romach Unit carried out the operation targeting economic offenses and tax debt enforcement. During the raid, authorities seized 17 luxury vehicles, including BMWs, linked to tax debts totaling approximately 16 million shekels. The confiscated vehicles were handed over to the Tax Authority for further processing under its jurisdiction. The Israeli Police emphasized their ongoing commitment to collaborating with enforcement agencies to combat economic crimes, uphold the rule of law, and maintain public order.
