Benny Landau, a singer originating from the West Bank settlements known for his distinctive look featuring sidelocks and a large women's hat, has gained a significant following among mainstream Haredi yeshiva students. Last week, he performed at the Ramat Cultural Hall in Jerusalem to an ecstatic crowd of hundreds of yeshiva students who passionately sang along to his complex and lengthy songs. Landau, who began his career anonymously as "B'Seter HaMidraga," has spent the past decade breaking into the Haredi yeshiva world, amassing thousands of devoted fans.
