Senior IRGC Aerospace Commander Seriously Wounded in Assassination Attempt in Southeastern Iran

A significant assassination attempt targeted Abolfazl Heydari, deputy commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force, in the city of Zahedan, located in Iran's southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan. Unknown assailants on motorcycles approached Heydari, opened fire, and fled the scene. Heydari was seriously injured in the attack.
