Zion Amir Says Journalist Guy Peleg Cut Ties Over His Support for Netanyahu

In an interview on the Asnaheim program aired on Channel 13, lawyer Zion Amir, known for his support of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, revealed that veteran journalist Guy Peleg from Channel 12 stopped speaking to him due to Amir's political stance. When asked by host Omri Asnaheim about the personal costs of being a Netanyahu supporter, Amir described Peleg as a close friend of 20 years who suddenly ceased all communication. Amir recounted that Peleg told him directly he no longer wanted to talk, despite their long history of socializing and mutual support during personal hardships. Amir expressed frustration over what he called Peleg's "pathetic condescension" and quoted Humphrey Bogart to emphasize his indifference to the fallout. Channel 12 journalist Guy Peleg declined to comment on the matter. The interview was scheduled to air on Thursday at 9:15 PM on Channel 13.
