Professor Cyril Cohen Appointed Rector of Bar-Ilan University

Professor Cyril Cohen, currently the Dean of the Faculty of Life Sciences at Bar-Ilan University and a leading expert in cancer immunotherapy and immunology, has been selected as the new rector of Bar-Ilan University. He will succeed Professor Amnon Albeck, who is set to complete his term as rector in October. Professor Cohen has received numerous awards for his research and public contributions, including the Taubblatt Prize for Medical Research, recognition for innovation from the American Cancer Research Center, and a special award from the Minister of Immigration and Absorption for his contributions to society and the State of Israel in research.
