Israel Launches Nationwide Fairs to Support Reserve Soldiers’ Businesses

Following three years of conflict, Israel is launching a series of fairs titled "Heart for Reservists" across four cities to support businesses owned by reserve soldiers. The fairs will take place in September in Haifa, Tel Aviv-Yafo, Jerusalem, and Beersheba, featuring around 100 businesses at each location from diverse sectors including food, agriculture, design, fashion, lifestyle, art, services, and gifts. This initiative aims to thank reservists for their service, promote Israeli-made products, and strengthen the connection between the public and those who serve.

The fairs will be accompanied by live broadcasts on Channel 12 news, hosted by Almog Boker and Menachem Horowitz, who will cover the events from the different venues. The specific dates and locations are: Jaffa Port Warehouse 2 from September 8 to 10, Safra Square in Jerusalem from September 16 to 18, Romema Sports Hall in Haifa from September 22 to 24, and Cinema City complex in Beersheba from September 29 to October 1.

Reserve soldiers who own businesses and served during the recent war are invited to apply for participation through a registration form. The selection process is managed by the organizing companies in each city, including the municipalities of Jerusalem and Haifa, Jaffa Port Company, and Cinema City Beersheba. Registration does not guarantee acceptance. The initiative follows the success of the "Heart with the North" fair, which attracted about 40,000 visitors.

Channel 12 encourages the public to attend these fairs to support the entrepreneurs who have paused their civilian lives to protect the country. The registration is handled by the company Shavim Yoter R.M.I.D Ltd., with final exhibitor selection at the discretion of each fair’s production team.
