The Serbian champions must register their new coach by midnight Friday to lead the team in the upcoming Europa League playoff against Viktoria Plzen. According to reports, Albert Riera is the frontrunner for the position. Riera was previously considered for the role last winter but chose to pursue opportunities in the Bundesliga instead. As a coach, Riera has managed teams including Olimpija Ljubljana, Celje (which faced Maccabi Tel Aviv), Bordeaux, and Eintracht Frankfurt.
