IDF Says Border Sirens in Misgav Am Came from Suspicious Air Target in South Lebanon
The IDF said that after sirens sounded in Misgav Am, it identified a suspicious aerial target in an area where forces were operating in southern Lebanon. According to the military, contact with the target was lost, and the incident ended without injuries.
The statement came in response to the alert in the northern Israeli community, which sits near the Lebanon border. The army did not say what the aerial object was, only that it had been detected in the same area where troops were active across the border.
The IDF said the event concluded with no casualties.
