Gordonia Hotel Chain Launches Luxury Yacht Rentals in Mediterranean from €100,000 per Week
The luxury Gordonia hotel chain is expanding into the maritime leisure market by offering private luxury yacht rentals in the Mediterranean Sea. Starting April through October, the 36.5-meter yacht GORDONIA I will be available for weekly charters along the coasts of Italy and Greece, subject to weather conditions. The yacht rental is offered in partnership with Swell Yachting, a company specializing in yacht sales, rentals, and management, which operates both in Israel and internationally.
The GORDONIA I is a 2026 model from the Italian yacht brand Sanlorenzo, designed by renowned Italian designer Piero Lissoni. It accommodates up to 12 guests in five spacious double suites, featuring extensive indoor and outdoor living areas, sun decks, and a swimming pool. The yacht can reach speeds up to 24 knots, cruises at 20 knots, and has a range of approximately 2,000 nautical miles. A dedicated crew of up to seven, including a captain, chef, stewardesses, and sailors, provides personalized service throughout the voyage.
Guests receive a fully customized itinerary tailored to their preferences, including choice of destinations, marinas, and onboard activities. The yacht is equipped with a private chef and a fully equipped kitchen, as well as water sports equipment such as a twin-engine speedboat and three jet skis. This offering aims to replicate the high-end hospitality Gordonia hotels are known for, but on the sea, allowing guests to experience an intimate and exclusive Mediterranean vacation.
The weekly rental price starts at 100,000 euros, inclusive of the yacht, facilities, and full crew service. Gadi Friber, CEO and co-owner of Gordonia, emphasized the goal of delivering a private, luxurious vacation experience where every detail, from the route to the cuisine, is personalized. Gordonia currently operates luxury hotels in Ma'ale HaHamisha and Zichron Yaakov and is now broadening its luxury hospitality portfolio to include yacht vacations. Swell Yachting, founded by Dafna and Golan Levy and based in Herzliya Marina, supports the initiative with its expertise in yacht management and rentals.
