Most Voters of Zalicha and Gantz Prefer Netanyahu as Prime Minister

A recent poll reveals that a significant majority of voters from smaller parties, including those not aligned with Likud, prefer Benjamin Netanyahu over Gadi Eizenkot for prime minister. Among supporters of the Economic Party led by Professor Yaron Zalicha, 73.5% favor Netanyahu, while only 19.9% support Eizenkot, with 6.6% undecided. This preference is notable given these voters do not primarily support Likud.

The trend extends to other small party voters: 84.8% of voters backing Ofer Winter's party, 80.3% of those supporting Moshe Feiglin's Zehut party, and 71.6% of Blue and White voters led by Benny Gantz also prefer Netanyahu over Eizenkot. Overall, among undecided voters and small party supporters surveyed, 59% favor Netanyahu for prime minister, compared to 28.6% for Eizenkot, with 12.5% undecided.

These findings highlight Netanyahu's strong appeal across various political groups beyond his own Likud base, suggesting broad support for his leadership despite the diversity of party affiliations among respondents. The poll underscores the ongoing competition for leadership preference ahead of upcoming political decisions in Israel.
