Former PM Bennett Escorts New Golani and Egoz Recruits, Praises Young Generation
Former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett visited the military recruitment office on Monday to accompany new recruits joining the Golani Brigade and Egoz unit. He personally greeted the young soldiers before they boarded buses to begin their service. In an interview with Channel 7, Bennett expressed his deep emotion about the enlistment of the younger generation into the Israel Defense Forces, noting that his own son is also enlisting. "There is a great generation here," Bennett said, emphasizing the responsibility to improve Israel for these young people, whom he described as "our children." He also called for unity during the recruitment process, urging to set aside political differences by stating, "There is no politics, no right, no left, we are all enlisting together in the IDF."
