Mass Brawl Erupts on Ice Rink at IceMall in Eilat, Two Injured

A verbal dispute at the IceMall ice skating rink in Eilat escalated into a physical altercation on Saturday, resulting in injuries to two skaters. According to a source familiar with the incident, the conflict began when some youths verbally abused one of the skaters, who responded in kind. Subsequently, individuals from the stands entered the rink and attacked the skater and his friend with punches and kicks, causing one of them to bleed heavily on the ice.

Additional youths who witnessed the fight intervened to separate the parties and stop the violence. Both injured skaters sustained wounds from the attack. Despite the severity of the incident, none of those involved reported it to the police emergency number, and law enforcement did not intervene.

The incident highlights a rare outbreak of violence at the popular ice skating venue in southern Israel. Efforts are underway to identify the rights holders of the footage documenting the fight, as it was shared under Israeli copyright law provisions for unidentified owners.
