Deputy Commander Smuggles Millions in Goods into Gaza Under Operational Cover

The deputy commander of the Bedouin Reconnaissance Battalion exploited his position to smuggle a truckload of goods worth millions of shekels into Gaza. He disguised the shipment as part of a special operations unit activity and instructed forces on site not to stop or document the vehicle, urging them to keep their distance. The smuggled items included cigarettes, personal care products, bicycles, and charcoal for hookahs. The trucks were left near the Kerem Shalom crossing before the goods were transferred into the Gaza Strip. The report was revealed by Amit Segal and featured on Channel 12 News.
