Chief Rabbinate Denies Collaboration With NGO Claiming Marriage Registration Support

The clarification extended beyond "Anachnu Tchelet" to include any organization or private entity falsely presenting itself as operating in cooperation with or under the auspices of the Chief Rabbinate or the Ministry without official approval. The Rabbinate reiterated that marriage registration in Israel is conducted exclusively through regional Rabbinate offices and official systems of the Chief Rabbinate. No private bodies or NGOs are authorized to act on their behalf.

The Ministry and Rabbinate urged the public to approach official Rabbinate offices directly for marriage registration and to avoid relying on unauthorized groups claiming to represent the Rabbinate. This statement aims to prevent misinformation and ensure the integrity of the marriage registration process in Israel.
