Dacia Launches Hybrid 4X4 Models with Automatic Transmission in Israel

Dacia's Israeli importer has introduced new 4X4 versions of the Duster and Bigster SUVs featuring hybrid powertrains paired with automatic transmissions. Previously, 4X4 variants were only available with 1.2-liter manual transmissions, but the new models offer a 1.2-liter three-cylinder full hybrid engine producing 150 horsepower, combined with an automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive. This upgrade boosts power by 20 horsepower, improves acceleration to 100 km/h by up to 1.8 seconds, and enhances fuel efficiency to approximately 17.2 km per liter.

The Duster and Bigster hybrid 4X4 models are available in three trim levels mirroring the 2X4 versions: Adventure, Ultimate, and Discover for the Duster; and Adventure Plus, Ultimate, and Ultimate SR for the Bigster. Features range from a 10.1-inch multimedia screen, keyless entry, and parking sensors to advanced safety systems including adaptive cruise control and blind spot warnings. The Bigster Ultimate SR also includes a panoramic sunroof and two-tone paint.

Pricing for the Duster 4X4 hybrid starts at 158,000 shekels for the Adventure trim, rising to 171,000 shekels for the Discover trim. The Bigster 4X4 hybrid begins at 176,000 shekels for Adventure Plus and reaches 191,000 shekels for Ultimate SR. Additionally, the Bigster 2X4 hybrid models have seen a price reduction of 7,000 shekels.

These new hybrid 4X4 automatic models mark a significant update for Dacia in Israel, aligning with European trends and offering customers improved performance and convenience in off-road capable SUVs. The manual 4X4 versions are being discontinued in favor of this new hybrid automatic lineup.
