International Education Leaders Visit Israel to Study Early Childhood Innovation
A group of 23 senior education professionals from 19 countries recently visited Israel to participate in an international course focused on innovative approaches to early childhood education. The delegation included representatives from Azerbaijan, Cameroon, Colombia, Eswatini, Georgia, Ghana, Guatemala, India, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kosovo, Liberia, Malawi, Myanmar, Nepal, Peru, the Philippines, Rwanda, and Ukraine. These participants hold high-ranking positions in educational systems, social organizations, and government bodies dedicated to advancing early childhood development in their home countries.
The course, titled "Innovative Approaches in Early Childhood Education and Development," was hosted by MASHAV, Israel's Agency for International Development Cooperation under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Golda Meir MASHAV Carmel Center. During their visit, the delegation toured the Seminar Hakibbutzim College, one of Israel's leading institutions for training educators. They were introduced to the college's training philosophy, which integrates academic knowledge, practical experience, and pedagogical innovation.
A highlight of the visit was the simulation center, where students practice handling real-world educational scenarios. This hands-on approach aims to bridge academic learning with the evolving realities of educational systems. The visit fostered professional knowledge exchange and aimed to build international collaborations in the field of early childhood education.
