Yuval Raphael Releases New Single 'PAPA' Ahead of Tel Aviv Show
Yuval Raphael, who broke out on "The Next Star" just a year ago, is continuing a rapid rise that already includes major Eurovision success. After winning the public vote at Eurovision 2025 and returning to the contest this year as a songwriter, where she again finished second, the young singer is now releasing a new single called "PAPA."
The song was written with Tzlil Klifi, Nadav "Navi" Aharoni and Dana Lev, and it comes with a cinematic video directed by Omer Aloni. According to the release, the clip takes viewers on a visual journey through different worlds and alternate realities in Raphael's life.
Raphael said the track is deeply personal. "This song is my heart, it talks about this thing called fate," she said. "'PAPA' is what watches over us, the guardian angel of all of us." The release comes as she continues working internationally, including newspaper columns around the world and recording a theme song for an HBO series.
Raphael will perform the song live with her band at a special show at Reading 3 in Tel Aviv on June 20. The concert is expected to include surprises and special guests.
