Rabbi Avraham Topik Celebrates Talmud Completion with Students at Samuel the Prophet's Tomb After 20 Years

During the Bein Hazmanim period, the Porat Yosef Yeshiva in Geula upheld its nearly century-old tradition of extending Torah study beyond the regular academic year. On Monday, the 13th of Menachem Av, third-year students accompanied by Rabbi Avraham Topik, a leading figure of the yeshiva, visited the tomb of Samuel the Prophet to mark a festive completion ceremony of Talmudic tractates.

Rabbi Topik, who had not visited the site in twenty years, expressed deep emotion and joy at returning to this significant location. He praised the students for their dedication and emphasized the importance of utilizing all available time for Torah study, including lunch breaks, Fridays, Shabbat, and Bein Hazmanim days. He encouraged the students to strive to become great Torah scholars.
