A stun grenade was thrown at a Rami Levy Stock store under construction in Ramla overnight between Wednesday and Thursday, damaging the automatic glass entrance door. The store, scheduled to open by the end of August, had its broken glass cleaned by workers this morning to prepare for opening. The police are investigating the incident without a specific motive at this time.

In a separate event the same night, another stun grenade exploded near a luxury residential tower in the Park Tzameret neighborhood of northern Tel Aviv, causing damage to the building's entrance. The blast was audible throughout the area, including Ramat Gan.

These incidents come amid a recent surge in criminal violence involving grenade throws, shootings, and arson attempts targeting businesses such as the Japanese sushi chain "Jafnika" across Israel. Authorities believe these attacks are linked to conflicts between organized crime groups. The escalation has prompted the U.S. Embassy to issue an unusual warning to American citizens residing in Israel.
