Israel Opens New National Football Center in Northern Zevulun Regional Council
Israel officially inaugurated a new National Football Center on August 6, 2026, in the Zevulun Regional Council area, near the kibbutzim of Uscha and Kfar Maccabi. The opening ceremony was attended by Culture and Sports Minister Miki Zohar, Israel Football Association Chairman Shinu Zohar, and the Israeli national team coaching staff led by Ran Ben Shimon.
The newly established complex features two state-of-the-art training fields, one synthetic turf and one natural grass, along with locker rooms, coaches' rooms, meeting rooms, and treatment facilities. Nearby, within walking distance, there will be a sports hall, lecture rooms, and a cafeteria.
This center is designed to serve as the professional hub for football players in northern Israel, aiming to develop a unified approach, methodology, and style for the next generation of young footballers. In addition to advancing northern sports teams, the center will promote inclusion, tolerance, and excellence through sports by welcoming diverse populations from the region.
