Israeli Police Investigate Murder of Notorious Criminal Oshar Kedoshim in Netivot

Israeli police continue to investigate the murder of Oshar Kedoshim, a known criminal, who was killed in a street shooting in Netivot on Saturday night. Authorities suspect that some of the suspects involved in the killing have fled the country. The incident is believed to stem from a criminal dispute.

Following a situational assessment at the crime scene led by Southern District Commander Chief Superintendent Haim Bublil, the investigation was assigned to the Central Unit of the Negev Division. A 40-year-old resident of Netivot was arrested on suspicion of involvement and transferred for further questioning.

During the attack, a 29-year-old passerby was also lightly wounded by gunfire. Emergency medical teams treated him on-site; he suffered penetrating injuries but was not involved in the conflict. Paramedic Uriel Cohen from Magen David Adom’s motorcycle unit described the victim as unconscious and without pulse or breathing upon arrival. Despite advanced resuscitation efforts, the victim was pronounced dead.

Oshar Kedoshim’s body was scheduled for burial later Monday at the Netivot cemetery. The police investigation is ongoing as they seek to apprehend additional suspects and clarify the circumstances of the shooting.
