Petah Tikva Man Charged with Raping Woman After Claiming to Be Nova Survivor

The State Prosecutor's Office has filed charges against 22-year-old Adiel Eliyahu Michael Cohen from Petah Tikva for the rape of a young woman. According to the indictment, Cohen encountered the complainant several weeks ago while she was out walking her dog at night. He initiated a conversation, asked sexually suggestive questions, and touched her despite her clear refusal of any contact. After she declined to meet him, Cohen claimed he was a survivor of Nova, which led her to agree to meet him briefly outside her building.

The indictment alleges that Cohen then entered her apartment against her will, forced her to perform oral sex, and raped her. He faces charges of rape and indecent acts. The case is being handled by the Central District Court, and the prosecution has presented these serious accusations based on the victim's testimony and the circumstances described.
