Former IDF Officer and Channel 14 Analyst Roy Danino Joins Sharren Haskel's Israel First Party

Retired Lieutenant Colonel Roy Danino, a security and economic analyst on Channel 14 and Kan 11, has officially joined the Israel First party led by Member of Knesset Sharren Haskel. Danino, 40, a father of five, served over 600 days in reserve duty during Operation Iron Swords and fought in the Nahal Brigade. He currently advises defense companies and municipalities, focusing on reducing regulation, lowering taxes, and tackling the high cost of living while strengthening national resilience.

Danino volunteers to support reservists and business owners affected economically. Upon joining, he stated that his mission continues beyond military service and praised Haskel for her clean and focused leadership prioritizing the country's welfare. Haskel welcomed Danino, highlighting his frontline experience and representing a generation tired of political extortion, especially regarding exemptions from military service and the burden borne by those who serve and work. She described Israel First as the home for patriotic right-wing citizens and entrepreneurs and expressed pride in Danino's decision to take action rather than just protest.

This move signals a strengthening of Israel First ahead of the 2026 elections, aiming to offer a practical alternative focused on economic and social issues affecting service members and the broader public.
