Japanese Kit Kat Flavors Arrive in Israel Alongside Tel Aviv Pizzeria's 5th Anniversary

Tel Aviv's La Tigre pizzeria is celebrating its fifth anniversary with a lively party on August 6th, featuring rotating DJs, free-flowing Neapolitan-style pizzas, and various treats for 120 shekels per person. La Tigre, located at 9 Frankel Street, is recognized as Israel's only member of the Associazione Pizzerie Napoletane (APN), importing all ingredients except vegetables from southern Italy. Guests must wear leopard print attire to enter the event starting at 10 p.m.

Meanwhile, travelers can now purchase a special Japanese edition of Kit Kat at the James Richardson duty-free store in Israel. This limited release includes four unique flavors inspired by Japan: tangy lemon, rich dark chocolate, matcha with white chocolate, and a cheesecake with blueberry Fuji flavor. Prices range from $11.90 to $15.90, with a buy-three-get-one-free promotion valid until August 3rd.

Additionally, Chef Oren Asido has launched a new summer lunch menu at Amaya in Rehovot's Science Park. The menu offers light dishes such as Jerusalem pretzels, ikra, and various salads for 42 shekels, with main courses like fried shrimp and fish cigars priced between 72 and 143 shekels. The restaurant is open Sunday through Thursday from noon to 4 p.m.
