Hapoel Ramat Gan Seeks Midfielder Aziz Awatara from Maccabi Netanya

Hapoel Ramat Gan, newly promoted to the Israeli Premier League, has approached Maccabi Netanya to inquire about acquiring midfielder Aziz Awatara. Awatara, who earns approximately 120,000 shekels net per month at Netanya, is reportedly not in the club's future plans. Ramat Gan has expressed willingness to cover half of his salary through the end of the season. Negotiations may advance following the teams' match scheduled for Sunday evening.

The club is also dealing with frustration after winger Christian Nauwetsch chose to sign with the Iraqi club Sabah, prompting Ramat Gan to ask player agents to continue proposing young, fast left-wingers as replacements. Meanwhile, coach Roni Levi, after two Toto Cup wins, is aiming for a third consecutive victory and plans to rotate the squad, reinstating several starters from the opening game against Hapoel Jerusalem.

Congolese player Isaac Chibangu, currently on trial, might be included in the squad. Dolev Haziza is confirmed to be part of the team and expected to play some minutes. Basem Za'arura will miss the match due to suspension, with Omri Shamir set to start in midfield. The projected lineup includes Samuel Silva, Alon Azougi, Bakari Konate, Beni Feldman, Giorgi Morozov, Omri Shamir, Maor Levi, Oz Bilu, Willian Siprian, Alex Talfa, and Mateusz Dabo.
