Wounded Soldier Mordechai Shnewald Releases Emotional Song 'One More Moment at Home'

Mordechai Shnewald, who was severely wounded during the war, has released a new song titled "One More Moment at Home" as part of the "Spirit of the Armored Corps" initiative. The song reflects his personal journey of coping and rehabilitation following his injury. Shnewald co-wrote the lyrics with his father, Colonel (res.) Rabbi Eliezer Shnewald, head of the Modiin Yeshiva, and both perform the song together. The musical arrangement and production were handled by Asaf Finkelstein and Mordechai Shnewald.

The song expresses a blend of pain, longing, and hope, capturing the deep desire to return home and the faith in the strength to start anew despite hardships. "One More Moment at Home" joins a series of works within the "Spirit of the Armored Corps" project, which aims to musically convey stories of heroism, resilience, and spirit among Armored Corps soldiers and their families.
