Minister Gila Gamliel Vows to Advance Voluntary Gaza Migration and Complete Judicial Reform

In a speech at the Iyubi Group conference in Jerusalem on Friday, Minister Gila Gamliel praised Justice Minister Yariv Levin for his work during the recent term and reaffirmed her commitment to advancing the judicial reform agenda. She stated that the next government will complete the judicial reform, including continuing the transfer of powers away from the Attorney General, a process she has been involved with. Gamliel emphasized the growing public support for returning authority to the elected branches of government, asserting that the reforms are necessary to empower the Knesset and government to implement their policies.

Regarding the ongoing conflict, Gamliel highlighted Israel's efforts to recover all hostages and missing persons from the October 7 attacks, noting the recent arrest of a terrorist involved in the abduction of two individuals. She dismissed negotiations with Hamas as deceptive and reiterated her intention to promote the "voluntary migration" plan for residents of the Gaza Strip, a policy she introduced in the war's first week.

Gamliel also pointed to significant Israeli security achievements in Syria and Lebanon, including control over strategic areas near the Syrian Hermon and southern Lebanon following IDF operations against Hezbollah infrastructure. She criticized the media for underreporting these successes and declared, "We are on the path to complete victory." She concluded by praising Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's war leadership and his relationship with U.S. President Donald Trump, expressing confidence that the Iranian regime will eventually collapse.
