Israeli Hostage Survivor Eli-H Cohen Publishes Book in Fifth Language, Including Russian

Eli-H Cohen, an Israeli who survived 505 days in Hamas captivity, announced the release of his book 'Mofodat' (Negotiation) in its fifth language, now available in Russian. Cohen expressed gratitude for the opportunity to share his testimony worldwide and included a link to purchase the Russian edition.

He began writing the book immediately after his release, recounting not only his ordeal but also his personal identity behind the trauma. Cohen described the emotional process of writing over six months, confronting suppressed memories and feelings with determination to live with and share his truth.

The book has sold over 40,000 copies and recently earned the "Platinum Book" award from the Israeli Publishers Association. Cohen reflected on his journey with emotion, stating that from the lowest point, one can only rise.

In August, Cohen is scheduled to marry his fiancée Ziv Avod, who also survived the deadly attack in the "death shelter" and supported his return. Their engagement took place in October, two years after the attack. The wedding will include other former hostages such as Noa Argamani, Avintan Or, Omer Shem-Tov, Almog Meir Jan, and siblings Itay and Maya Regev.
